I’m working on a set of resources to support the publication of ‘Technobiophilia: nature and cyberspace‘. I’ll be adding them gradually throughout September before the UK publication on the 26th. (It comes out in the USA on 21st November.) There will be photos of some of the people I interviewed, links to the videos I discuss in the book, a bibliography of titles and links, and perhaps a sample chapter too.
I’m also planning to collect technobiophilic images, sounds and videos. This rather joky Historical Road Map of the internet drawn up by Tim Berners-Lee in 2007 is a good example of the way we like to see technology in the shape of the natural world. I’ll be looking for lots more like this – historical, contemporary, found, and even deliberately created as an expression of your own experience of technobiophilia. So get ready – I’ll be asking for contributions!
